Departing from Wellington, we board our ferry to cross the Cook Straight to tour the spectacular South Island. Our journey starts in New Zealand’s top producing wine region, Marlborough. Driving along the coast we arrive in the coastal town of Kaikoura. Christchurch, known as the ‘Garden City’, is next followed by time out to take in the breathtaking scenery of Lake Tekapo and Lake Pukaki. Dunedin, nestled beneath green rolling hills, is next on our journey of the south. We travel over to Fiordland - New Zealand’s largest National Park - and take a boat cruise on Milford Sound. Making our way up the West Coast we take in the amazing sights of Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers before moving on to Greymouth. In Greymouth you will board the Tranz Alpine Train and see the scenery change from lush rainforest to snow capped mountains to the plains of Canterbury and Christchurch where your  New Zealand tour comes to an end.
