On this New Zealand tour, we leave Auckland and head up the west coast to the Bay of Islands where you take a tour to 90 Mile Beach and Cape Reinga and have the oportunity to spend a day cruising the many islands off the coast. After nights at Leigh and Hahei on the Coromandel Peninsular we travel to Rotorua via Taupo. In Rotorua you will get to tour a local Maori village followed by a traditional concert and meal. We then drive through the geothermal centre of New Zealand to Hawkes Bay where you get the chance to smaple some fabulous NZ wines on a winery tour. After spending time in Wellington, we cross to the South Island by ferry. Travelling through Marlborough we make our way down the coast to Kaikoura where you may see the mighty sperm whale. From Kaikoura it’s onto Christchurch and Dunedin. We then make our way further south and arrive at Milford Sound, often described as ‘the eighth wonder of the world’. A short drive takes us to Queenstown, the action adventure capital of NZ. We make our way north up the rugged and heavily forested West Coast of the South Island and stop at Pukekura and then FoxGlacier, where you can walk on glacial ice or take a scenic flight over Mt Cook. After time spent in Abel Tasman National Park, we stop in Nelson and then board our ferry back to the North Island and Wellington where this amazing adventure tour ends.
