This incredible 30 day New Zealand Overland Tour covers both the North and the South Islands. Departing Auckland you travel north to the Bay of Islands and Cape Reinga / 90 Mile Beach before traveling south via Kaitaia to the picturesque Hokianga Harbour. South via Auckland, to Karangahake Gorge and Rotorua.  After traveling on one of the last true back country highways, we spend time at Lake Waikaremoana and the Hawkes Bay Wine region. From here we travel via Rangitikei, Wairarapa and Cape Palliser to New Zealand’s capital, Wellington. Crossing the Cook Strait, you will travel through Molesworth Station before visiting Kaikoura and Hanmer Springs. After time in Christchurch, you spend an unforgettable night in a High Country Station before stopping at Lake Tekapo and then pass through Central Otago - the middle of the South Island -  to reach Queenstown. Cruise Milford Sound, journey up the wild West Coast to Fox Glacier and Punakaiki.  Explore Abel Tasman National Park and cross back to Wellington on the ferry. After time spent in the capital, we drive north on The Forgotten Highway to Whangamomona, Waitomo and finally back to Auckland  where this fabulous journey will end.
