You explore New Zealand extensively on this tour and start by heading north from Christchurch to Wellington via Picton. You cross the Cook Straight and enter the North Island through the very scenic Queen Charlotte Sound. An express journey takes you to Auckland and across to Hot Water Beach on the Coromandel Peninsula. Continue to Rotorua, Whakahoro and Tongariro National Park. Back to Wellington and another ferry ride back to the South Island. Stop for wine tasting in a premier wine region, and continue to Abel Tasman National Park via Nelson. Travelling through a few more National Parks, you arrive at Hanmer Springs and the coastal town of Kaikoura where you have the chance to whale watch or swim with dolphins. A stop in the city of Christchurch before traversing Arthur's Pass to get to Franz Josef. Journey to Makarora before hitting the action capital of NZ, Queenstown. Try your hand at bungee jumping or one of the many adrenalin pumping activities on offer. Take in the diverse scenery of Fiordland NP and Doubtful Sound. From Te Anau you travel through the Central Otago region and over the Canterbury Plains to arrive at Christchurch where you end this fabulous New Zealand adventure tour.
