On this New Zealand South Island overland tour, we leave Christchurch and make our way via the coastal and mountain ranges to Hanmer Springs via Kaikoura. We travel through the iconic, and huge, Molesworth Station before traveling onto Nelson. We spend time in one of New Zealand's most treasured gems - Abel Tasman National Park. We make our way down the spectacular West Coast coastline to Punakaiki and Fox Glacier. Making our way south west we head towards Fiordland, New Zealand’s largest National Park and home to all of New Zealand’s 14 fiords. Here we will visit and cruise on Milford Sound, with its best known attraction, Mitre Peak. Our next stop is Queenstown where there are a multitude of activities to get your heart pumping. Now we travel through Central Otago, with its unrivalled scenery of rocky and mountainous landscapes and a well-preserved gold heritage. We stop at Lake Tekapo, a stunningly beautiful highland lake and ares near Mount Cook.We then spend an amazing night at a Canterbury High Country Station in the rugged Southern Alps. We finish this amazing South Island tour back in Christchurch.
