Scenic Trail

26 Days        Auckland to Auckland
Price:           NZ2990   AU2335   £1405   €1555   C$2245   US2095

We explore New Zealand extensively on this tour and start by heading south from Auckland to the beautiful Coromandel Peninsular and Hahei for some relaxing beach time. Then we’re off to Rotorua, the Maori Cultural and Geothermal Centre of New Zealand. Continuing south we stop at Hawkes Bay before travelling on to Wellington. From here we cross the Cook Straight and enter the South Island through the very scenic Queen Charlotte Sound. Travelling through Marlborough, New Zealand’s biggest wine producing region, we head for the coastal town of Kaikoura where you have the chance to whale watch or swim with dolphins. We then stop in the city of Christchurch before going onto Dunedin and across to the West Coast and Milford Sound  Its now time to hit the action capital of NZ, Queenstown. Try your hand at bungee jumping or one of the many adrenalin pumping activities on offer. We take in the diverse scenery of the wild West Coast and Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers and continue north to possibly the most beautiful of New Zealand’s National Parks, Abel Tasman. We then cross back into the North Island and visit Rangitikiei, Pipiriki and National Park. Crossing into the lush dairy farming region of Waikato we go underground at Waitomo Caves. We have one last camp stop before returning to Auckland.
