On this New Zealand tour you depart Auckland and cross over to the rugged coastline of the Coromandel Peninsula to Hahei. where you visit Cathedral  Cove and Hot Water Beach. Continue traveling down the Peninsula to Rotorua, the cultural and geothermal capital of New Zealand. Here you can learn about Maori culture and enjoy an evening filled with song, dance, and a traditional meal. Make your way past Lake Taupo to the Central Plateau where you stay in a wilderness lodge and have the chance to hike the Tongariro Crossing. We now wind our way to Wellington, New Zealands' capital, where you c an spend the afternoon exploring Te Papa - New Zealand's National Museum. An express journey back to Auckland where this North Island tour ends.
