7 Days Auckland to Wellington
Price: NZ660 AU590 £300 €360 C$560 US$550
This tour takes in the sites down the East Coast of the North Island. Departing Auckland we cross over to the rugged coastline of the Coromandel Peninsula to Hahei. We continue to travel down the Peninsula to Rotorua, the cultural and geothermal capital of New Zealand. Here you can learn about Maori culture and enjoy an evening filled with song, dance, and a traditional meal. We make our way south east past Lake Taupo, to Hawkes Bay. Hawkes Bay is New Zealand’s oldest wine region; perhaps you could go on a wine tasting tour or take an early morning flight over the wineries. From Napier’s art deco lined streets to Cape Kidnappers Gannett colony there is plenty to do. We now wind our way down past the Tararua Ranges to Wellington.
