Overland NZ: New Adventure Tours
2009
We have added more tours....Our total tour selction is now 23. Tours start at 5 days - the Bay of Islands, the West Coast and the Coastal Path - to 30 days - the Absolute NZ - which covers both islands top to bottom.
You can now start or end your Overland tour in QUEENSTOWN.. So we now have these start / end points: AUCKLAND, WELLINGTON, CHRISTCHURCH and QUEENSTOWN.
2009/2010
So we have decided to get back to our roots and go a little further off the beaten track. This was always our aim - to go places that the hoardes to not go to. To show you parts of the REAL New Zealand. Not that Queenstown is not the 'real' New Zealand, it is just that there are so, so many places to see that are a lot quiter and incredibly beautiful and steeped in their own precious history. Some new places we visit are just beacuse they are out of the way and really beautiful...
* We stay at a relatively remote farm station in McKenzie Country in the South Island
* We stay at Pukekura - population 2 - on the West Coast of the South Island
* We stay at Punakaiki on the West Coast of the South Island
* We now stay in Nelson
* We now travel through the centre of the North Island to Taihape where we stay at a fabulous lodge near the Rangitikei River; and Pipiriki where we take a jet boat tour up the Whanganui River to the 'Bridge to Nowhere'
