2010: Private Charters for Groups - Day and Overnight Trips
You can book our overland truck for day trips and overnight trips for a group. This can be anything from a birthday, a family gathering, a work function, an anniversary, sporting event or just a get-away. These 'mini-trips' are fully catered and would make use of our on board camping equipment and full kitchen. For these Charters we cover only the Auckland, Bay of Plenty and Waikato areas.
2010: Family Charters
Book a personalised charter for your family. Our scheduled tours do not allow passengers under 18 so this is a perfect opportunity to have your children travel with you. Family charters offer activities that are suitable and enjoyable for children and the itineraries are slightly slower paced. Minimum passengers for a family charter is 10, and minimum time for the charter is 1 week. We can tailor an itinerary for you or you can present us with your own.
2010: World Rowing Championships - Lake Karapiro, New Zealand
2010 sees the World Rowing Championships come to New Zealand. It is guaranteed to be a championship not to be missed, whether you are a domestic or international spectator, an official or a volunteer. The event goes from 31st October to the 07th November 2010, and is based in Lake Karapiro, 35 kilometres southeast of Hamilton, close to the town of Cambridge. It is one of the most picturesque rowing venues in the world. Why not get a group together and see some (or all!) of New Zealand before the big event? Charters for a minimum of a week, or a maximum of four.
2011: World Cup Rugby - New Zealand wide
2011 sees New Zealand hosting the Rugby World Cup. Games begin on Friday 09th September 2011, New Zealand V Tonga at Eden Park in Auckland, and end on Sunday 23rd October with the Final at Eden Park in Auckland. Games will be held in Auckland, Invercargill, Rotorua, Christchurch, Wellington, Dunedin, Hamilton, Napier, Nelson, New Plymouth and Plamerston North. Charter our 24 seat fully self contained overland truck for New Zealand sight seeing and touring with a Rugby game or two thrown in! You can charter for the entire duration of the World Cup - just over 6 weeks - or for a couple of weeks. (Minimum charter time is 2 weeks, maximum 7 weeks.) We can tailor the itinerary to suit your Game preferences (and tickets) and that will also allow you to see some of the magic New Zealand has to offer. New Zealand will be virtually booked out for the World Cup, so we strongly suggest you get in quick for transport and accommodation.
